YOUR NEXT FIVE

Can you figure these out?

Five puzzles. No timer. An explanation after every answer.

Surprising, but fair.

A good brain teaser gives you everything you need. There is no countdown and no prize for rushing. Choose an answer, read the explanation, and decide when you are ready to move on.

Logic & deduction

Follow what must be true rather than what sounds plausible. A rule saying “every glint is blue” does not mean every blue object is a glint. These puzzles reward keeping the direction of a rule straight.

Patterns & rules

Track a cycle or apply a rule step by step. A short sequence can fit many invented patterns, so our sequence puzzles state the rule. The challenge is using it carefully, not guessing what the author meant.

Probability surprises

Count possible outcomes and notice which information changes the odds. Two coin flips have four ordered outcomes: HH, HT, TH, TT. Exactly one head occurs in two of them, giving a probability of one half. “Exactly one” and “at least one” ask different questions.

Numbers & estimation

Pause before using the obvious calculation. If a $100 price rises 20% and then falls 20%, it becomes $120 and then $96. The second percentage uses a different starting amount. Sketching a concrete example can reveal a hidden assumption.

Try another angle

Each guest round mixes puzzle types and draws from the remaining questions before repeating the collection. Guest scores last for this page visit. An account saves future scores and helps your next round focus on the types you miss.
